Anniversary rings

An anniversary ring is any ring gifted in honor of a milestone anniversary — even if that milestone is one year! Many choose a diamond-accented band that is similar in shape or style to their wedding ring. Others choose a Solitaire or Three Stone ring that is similar to an engagement ring setting.

The most popular style of anniversary ring for her is a diamond band. These styles of rings usually feature diamonds slightly larger in size than the melee diamonds in a pavé wedding ring. Examples are an Alternating Shapes Band, Five Stone Band, or Eternity Band.

Eternity Bands and Infinity Bands are best-selling diamond anniversary bands. The Half Pavé Band as well as pavé versions of certain styles like the Signature V Band are also well loved for their distinctive style 

Most wear it on their left ring finger. Some choose to remove their wedding set and wear only their anniversary band on their left ring finger. This is popular for those who prefer a simpler look. In some cases, an anniversary ring is designed to replace the engagement ring but is still worn alongside the wedding band.

There are no strict rules for when to give or receive an anniversary band. Many couples choose to mark significant anniversaries, such as the 10th, 15th, 20th, or 25th, with an anniversary ring. Others might opt to celebrate milestone years or unexpected moments with a ring as a surprise.

Many couples upgrade their engagement rings for their 10-year or 25-year anniversaries. It's common to upgrade a diamond in carat weight and value, or change diamond shape.
