Although an 8 carat diamond is large, whether it’s too big for you is a matter of personal preference. Your lifestyle, budget, and level of comfort wearing diamond jewelry should help you decide whether or not 8 carats are right for you. 

The size of an 8 carat Round Brilliant diamond is generally 13 x 13 x 7.84 mm. An 8 carat diamond in this shape would appear large on hand, although a virtual try-on would give you a better idea of exactly how it would look on your finger. For fancy shapes, like Emerald, Oval, or Pear cut diamonds, 8 carats might appear even larger on hand due to their elongated form.

Production itself takes an estimated 14 business days. But the majority of the custom made process comes before, from designing to finding the perfect diamonds to complete the look.  We therefore encourage customers to give themselves ample time to bring a custom design to life.
